New Treasures found on the property
Back a few weeks ago I was doing some landscaping, freeing part of the property with some well-needed cutting and trimming back of bushes, etc. When I noticed my dog, Dexter very intent on removing something from under the Treehouse, beneath the foliage. I went over to see what all the fuss was about and found he was digging up a bone.
Now, with all the animals and such here that isn't surprising. And the raccoons have taken old dog bones from the garbage, and left them outside before. Yet looking at it, myself and any other dog owner would know this isn't the kind of bone you can buy for your dog at the farm or pet store. Also, had it been a bovine bone, it would be much bigger. It certainly looks like a leg or arm bone if some kind, but seeing as this is was not found inside the house, there really was no need to have it officially identified.
It could be a deer or something yes, but why only the one bone? If it was remains of a scavenge or animal death, where is the rest? I dug around as much as possible, but found no others. It was so close to the Treehouse, if there is more they must be under the structure.

Spotted a spirit in broad daylight.
This afternoon I was outside on our newly remodeled deck with my roommate and my dog. He started growling at the chicken coop in our backyard across from the deck. He was going crazy!! We both got up to see what he was barking at and there in the window of the coop was a face! it was quick, it popped up, and then after noticing we saw it moved back out of view.
This is the first time my roommate saw something he couldn't explain. I asked him, "did you see that?!" he said he saw something but wasn't sure what... well, I was.
I saw a full figure in the little structure, through the slats in the wood and a full face in the door. My dog was going nuts. I wish I had a camera rolling!
After almost 3 years of living with a skeptic. (which is still fading day by day) what I have saw was finally seen by him, and it brought me a sense of relief. Everyone else that's been here has had experiences yet he's lived here with me for over three years and has had very little. Not that I wish this type of thing on anyone but I have to admit that having some validation with the person who also lives here to me was in an odd way comforting.

The more exposure, the more the activity...Both online, and in real life.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to participate in some podcasts, one radio, one video, and audio. Through the fantastic new streaming channel PARAflixx, the Netflix for Paranormal Content, that is growing in popularity quickly. Full of full-scale horror movies, documentaries, Music Video's and Podcasts..it's everything a paranormal enthusiast wants. These conversations are available to all PARAflix.com subscribers.
Since my first podcast with the fantastic fellows at Insane Asylum LLC Productions, Insane Asylum on YouTube, and the link on my personal, fan, and paranormal page. Things have been going well, after my first podcast, I have been getting some more requests and working on my own YouTube page where I will share investigation footage and past audio, video clips, and photos. Along with the mystery of my current dwelling of almost 3 and a half years now, and putting what I have been putting into writing into visual content for all to see.

Podcast - My Darkest Hour w/ Stefan Brigati and my work with the Island County Cemetery Project
Last night, I enjoyed speaking with Stefan Brigati, Lead Investigator of Pacific Coast Paranormal, and host of the PARAflixx exclusive Podcast, My Darkest Hour.
He asked me about my volunteer work with the Island County Cemeteries Project, and how that all came to be Going back into the late 1800s, the majority of headstones, have long since disintegrated from the rains, and the faint writing on the stones that are there, are faded from time and often very hard to read. I explained I always felt comfortable and at peace, in these places and often wonder why others fear them so. We spoke of the history of Camano Island and touched on a few of the town's prominent figures of the past that are buried in that cemetery. It does have a very outdated, and incorrect list on Findagrave.com, but when searching for cemeteries in the area it is not even listed, nor found on Google Maps. I plan to change that. I am cleaning up the remaining headstones, creating a master map of the plots, photographing what is still there, and try to find out who's markers are missing and through records, examining the ground, as well as using my intuition where they are located. It's a lot to do, but I find great contentment and pleasure in that type of work.
As we briefly touched on, some like to have the spirit energy around us. I know I do! With that trusting nature though can come misfortune. When you have so much going on at once, sometimes it's hard to know who is who, are they what, or who they say they are? When you open the door if someone asks nicely, then you realize you've just let in something dark, something unwanted. There always is that chance. In my ever-flowing sea of spiritual activity, whether Ancient or Man-made There is never a lack thereof!
We then spoke about my own Haunted History, where it started, some of my past experiences regarding my childhood, and turning out to me most of my life living with constant spiritual energy all around. Then there is my current situation living in what used to be a house used for rituals of a darker nature. With evidence of human and animal sacrifice done in the house and on the grounds, you can only do what you can do to keep things under control. The concept of Native Energy, and that created by man and how different the overall situation can become. The concept of complete respect when working with Spirit's is something we both feel strongly about.
It was a great talk, but went by so fast! Check it out at

Manresa Castle (1st Stay)
My first arrival at the Castle was a total fluke. I was in Port Townsand exploring and was looking for a place to stay. After driving around and searching on my phone for local hotels and Inn's there was little to come by. Then I saw Manresa... Just by looking at the building something said- this is the one. I had no idea it had the history and energy attached to it that it does until I stepped out of the car and made my way up the steps. I could feel it instantly, both good and bad as I walked up those concrete steps and entered the Castle. It was like fate was right there beside me, as I was handed a key to one of the 3 "haunted" rooms, room #306. I had a feeling when asked about the Wi-Fi password for the hotel, with the response that "those rooms don't have any connection. If you would like to use the Wi-Fi please feel free to use the Library or the bar and lounge..
Hmm, ok, so now I have some research to do.
Upon entering the room it was exactly how I expected, a classic victorian feel with the necessary modern upgrades such as a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi that which stated upon arrival that did not work. It indeed did not work in our room. We tried everything from boosters to HotSpots but could not get any signal, and the TV when turned on would turn off after only moments of hoarding its power. Also the main light in the room, a beautiful mini chandler would turn on and off at will.
The Paranormal Enthusiast in me got beyond excited as I unpacked my bag of equipment I had just in case of such an occurrence. Now mind you this was a good 7 years ago, so I did not yet have a full spectrum camera or a Spirit box, but I did have an old school Sony IR Camera, and a digital recorder so I went with what I had and got to work. I did the necessary research on the castle, the owners, some very interesting unknowns, but also your normal handful of associated "urban legends"
I spent hours online in the lobby library, which had a very homey and comfortable feel. Looking through articles and book notations, learning of the legend and lore of the Castle. The original owners, Charles and Elizabeth, and Kate Eisenbeis, and the history that followed. It was gripping! I couldn't believe that I was by chance given the room where a woman jumped to her death after her lover at Sea did not return, Also, right next to as many as "the hallway" between two other well-known hot spot rooms. Anna's room which was right below me, and the Monk's room with the staircase up to the attic right next to me, with the staircase leading upright above.
Along with the tales of the Castle was many a reference to a journal or book that was kept in the bedside of room #306, the very room I had rented for the night. I read for hours about the business and rise and fall of the great castle, from the Eisenbeis family to a school run by nuns and then the Jesuate monks that used it as their monastery in 1925. Yet in that timeline lies an interesting and unusual occurrence. In 1902 the tomb that contained both the glass coffin of Elizabeth and that of Charles Eisenbeis was caved in revealing the corpse of an "unnamed child" upon Charles Casket, the small skull of a child resting on top of the plot.
After reading for what seemed hours about the Eisenbeis family, the different uses for the castle over the years, I decided that I must stay another night and focus on making any contact or capturing any evidence with what little equipment I had with me. You know what they say, the best paranormal equipment is yourself!
Getting another night in room #306 made me giddy and I felt like a kid in a candy store. When speaking with the front desk lady I asked if it were at all possible if I took a look at the "book" she looked at me and smiled. Reaching under the desk in a drawer she pulled out the very journal I had read so much about. She said to feel free to add my own story to it and believe me. I planned on it. After spending hours in the beautiful library/reading room reading stories from people all over not only the state but the world, I handed back the journal and head up to prepare for my second night.
While taking my time going down every hallway, every staircase I remember coming around the corner and feeling a cold draft envelope my thigh and hip area, I felt a tug on my pants near the pocket like a child would when trying to take candy from you. I felt a very youthful energy as my hair flew from my face in the draftless hallway of this beautiful castle. I was so excited I bolted back to my room to grab my digital recorder and camera, but I knew not to bother.. I had my "experience" with her and I would have to seek out my next one.
I came back into the room, charged with adrenaline. I set up my cameras and waited patiently in the room, no more lights going on and off but I did hear a distinct sound of someone walking above the room beside me. I learned this was the Monk's room. A Jesuit Monk was said to have lost his faith and had taken his life in the attic above the room, in the Tower of the castle. This was the room adjacent to mine. (I just kept thinking I need to book that room next!)
The pacing back and forth above subsided after what seemed an hour or so, then I decided to go downstairs into the breakfast room for some more hot water for Tea. When I was downstairs I saw nothing more than I can explain as the most stereotypical version of a ghost I have ever seen. I saw a woman, long dark hair, white dress looking not lost, maybe in thought but not purpose. She moved about so gracefully, yet her energy felt heavy to me. I felt pain, loss, and sorrow. I knew this was the woman whose room I was sharing for the weekend. There was no question in my mind, it was her. Plain and simple. I saw flashes of looking out a window, the feeling of longing and hope. Getting the news that my love died at sea, and then nothing but pain. The kind of gut-wrenching pain that knots your stomach up and leaves you feeling nauseous and drained.
The rest of the last night of my stay was mostly tiptoeing around the floors mid-night, or doing research in the downstairs library (since I couldn't get wi-fi in my room) about the haunted castle I was staying in. I loved it! I very much enjoy history and research, and to stay in historic buildings with so much history just makes me light up with joy! no matter how dark the history may be.
My second night was much more eventful after a long daytime nap, and a late lunch in the garden overlooking the tower, which I already knew was the next room I wanted to stay in. I was entranced! I loved my long night of cuddling up on the couch in the library, reading "the book" that was kindly loaned to me on my two-night stay.
That night while lying in this gigantic California King Size Bed reading up on the Eisenbeis Family, the castle the gravesite. I knew where I was headed after checkout in the morning! I couldn't wait to see this tomb, and feel..sense of the history that it held, with all its mysteries. I did some EVP sessions but with the traffic, nothing was viable as there was too much noise pollution it contaminated any evidence I might have got. I thought, next visit, come at night! I
By the end of my first two-night stay, I had read every story of every person that wrote in that journal, their experiences at the castle intrigued me, and let me wanting more. Once finished I added my own experiences and handed it back to the Front desk manager, who had been very kind in giving me the opportunity to see something that "no longer exists"
I remember the following morning, as I drank my tea in the dining room that I did not want to leave, but I knew my time there had only just begun.
Boy was I right.

Missing photos from Live interview with Insane Asylum of manifestation in the room the bone was found in.
2/19/2021
Tonight's Live interview with Insane Asylum, Utterly Insane Productions:
We went over a variety of topics, mostly going over some of my past experiences which are mostly already written about here on this blog. However, if you are part of the PARAflixx and watched the after-air content we were trying to upload these images that apparently did not want to be seen... either that or it was just plain internet interference. Here on the island either explanation could be true.
Here are the photos we were referring to. They were taken when our handyman was doing work on the foundation and I went down to snap photos.
In the first, you see a round light anomaly, but in the second it has transformed into a tube-like shape. In all my years of my own investigations as well as watching such credible shows such as Ghost Adventures, I have never seen this type of manifestation before. It was taken nearly seconds after the first.
Here they are:

A poem
Monday, January 4, 2021
It's been confirmed, occult members once lived here.
After the discovery of the bone, the activity has ramped up like crazy.
Then, about two weeks ago, we needed to have some work done on the foundation in that huge, dirt-floored crawlspace room. With the freshwater ravine running along and under the house we get a lot of moisture and groundwater that flows towards the house as they built it on the lower part of the property, not a higher area like usual.
When our contractor was down there working on it he kept hearing a female voice saying "what are you doing?" He thought it was me until he called out to me and got no response. I was upstairs and had music on to drown out the random noises and disturbances that come with any alteration to the house or property. He was so freaked out that he finished up for the day. He mentioned how nervous he was to have to go down there again to finish up, and later on called me with the complaint of feeling like he was gagging on dirt. This wasn't the first time this happened either. When I dug up the bone, even wearing a respirator, I could taste dirt in my mouth. For hours I felt like it was in my throat, and could find nothing to overpower or make the taste go away.
That night, he got a call from the last owner who was sent photos of the back deck rebuild he just finished, and the work that was being done on the foundation. I don't know how it came up, but she said something to the tune of, oh I'm so sorry you have to work down in that horrible room.
Finally! an opportunity to get some legit information on the house, and a chance to hopefully shed light on some of the more "unique aspects" of its design, and outside decor. Here I am referring to the 103 cement blocks (that are only placed on the walkway up, and at each entrance to the house, even the garage) that are adorned with rock colour patterns, mixed symbolism from all parts of the world including Japanese characters, Celtic symbols, a German headstone, as well as many others we cannot identify even after 2 years of trying. Also the 7 different roof angles, the several small structures on the property, and most of all that creepy room with energy so thick it feels like your walking through a thick, heavy, fog of unnerving negative energy.
He asked her if my suspicions of how many others rented it before we rented to buy, as we get mail for 7 different people no longer living here. Apparently, we are the first people to stay the longest since 1999 when the additions were added. The original structure she said was built in the '70s and that she had found out that Occult members occupied the house after construction before her husband bought it and left it to her. She was told by neighbors that it was indeed true, and when moving in they found a lot of "suspicious" items in that room, as well as the rest of the house.
Well, that added a few more pieces to this mystery, and I am currently awaiting requested records for the house and the acreage it sits on. We already know there was nothing here before the house was built in the 70's other than a Native Encampment over 300 years ago. Which unfortunately due to a landslide resulted in hundreds of deaths of the Indigenous people.
Before he came back to finish up, I cleansed and charged the room to the best of my knowledge and ability. When he arrived, I heard loud banging sounds coming from that room. I figured he had let himself in downstairs through the mudroom, but when I went to find him I saw he was still outside in his truck on a phone call.
Now this female has taken a liking to me, and certainly isn't shy! She always came across as caring and kind, but I could feel a sense of sadness in her.
I spoke with a highly respected Psychic Medium who said that she was brought there with the hope of good things. Maybe invited over and taken with the unique beauty of the house accepted the invitation. Then things changed. He said that he then felt fear, entrapment, and panic. I was shocked! He didn't know anything about the Occult history, but by his reading, it sounded like she was lured in, and it didn't end well for her.
Maybe that is why she wanted me to find it, and the other did not. I am not sure, but now I have an even bigger mystery on my hands that will take a lot of research to validate. Good thing I love to research, and enjoy mysteries!
